After today's heavy rain, a dragonfly rested on some leaves in our backyard. I spent many minutes carefully photographing it.
I was very pleased with some shots. I'm going to make it in a large print that may look like this, minus the watermark. Right now I'm calling it my best nature photo of 2010.
Nikon D300 with 105mm micro lens at f11 ISO 200. SB800 flash with a diffuser provided the light.
